Avon Breast Cancer Walk |

Donna Muscari is a nurse who works in the recovery room at Palm Bay Community Hospital. When a close family member was diagnosed with breast cancer she decided to deal with her family members battle in an active way by walking in the Avon-3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. Donna, and her friend Debbie (also a nurse), braved harsh October New York weather in the event that saw 5600 walkers raise over 9 million dollars for breast cancer research and treatment. This 9 million is part of over 250 million dollars that has been raised by Avon for breast cancer research.
