After Hours Calls
After hours calls are routed via our answering service to Dr. Fusco or the "on call" surgeon.
Questions concerning scheduling, billing, or administrative matters can not be handled outside of business hours. It is also our practice to not refill narcotic pain medications outside of business hours. This policy helps to assure that these potentially addictive drugs are properly monitored. The policy is necessitated by the common practice of those who abuse these drugs of calling for refills after hours when they feel a physician less familiar with their case might handle the request for refills. We therefore ask that patients monitor their supply and use of pain medications so that refill requests can be processed during business hours.
